Ceiling-mounted monkey bars

If you’re considering any ceiling structure, here’s what you need to check:

  • Ceiling material – ideally, monolithic concrete ceilings, beams, or other load-bearing parts of buildings are suitable. Ceilings made of hollow prefabricated panels are not ideal, but technical solutions can be found if needed.
  • Ceiling height – there are technological and practical limits for everything, including monkey bars. For instance, if the ceiling height is 4m and the desired exercise height is 2.4m, support brackets longer than 1.6m are needed, which must be reinforced, robust, and require more complex anchoring, understandably increasing the cost.
  • Desired length of the ceiling monkey bar.
For accurate pricing, provide a photo of the ceiling or elements where you want to anchor the monkey bars. It’s also helpful to mark obstacles on the ceiling (such as pipes, HVAC) to avoid during design and installation. If you choose one of our standard designs and minimal customization is needed, the cost will naturally be lower compared to a completely customized ceiling structure.

Ceiling-mounted monkey bars

The ceiling-mounted ladder, also known as a monkey bar, is among the most popular ceiling exercise structures. At its core is a horizontal ladder used for climbing, hanging exercises, or pull-ups. You can also hang various accessories (ropes, rings, balls, rollers) on the ceiling-mounted ladder to create a ninja-style training course.

Ceiling-mounted monkey bars come in various forms. Given the different conditions and requirements, we classify them under customized construction projects. For our customers, we customize not only the spacing of the bars, overall design, color, and features (such as the option to add accessories like a peg board), but also accommodate various ceiling heights.

Other ceiling-mounted exercise structures and rigs

Not every ceiling structure for exercise needs to include monkey bars. This category includes equipment such as the salmon ladder, twister (OCR), various brackets, and devices for hanging rings or TRX.
